Evelyn Flynn

As author of The Irish Cob Breed Standard Evelyn was officially approved in Ireland as the first inspector and inspector trainer for the mother Irish Cob studbook which was officially founded in 1998. Up until 2012 Evelyn conducted numerous ICS Studbook inspections in Ireland and throughout Europe and also held seminars educating Irish Cob breeders and enthusiasts about the breed.

Liselotte Laurberg

In 2004 Liselotte qualified as an Irish Cob inspector and has since judged the breed nationally and internationally and also trained aspirants. Liselotte is a also dressage trainer and Riding Therapist under “The Danish Equestrian Federation” and a qualified International Horse Exterior Judge in all breeds under “The Science Centre for Agriculture D.K – Horse”.

Paul Hart brings 39 years of expertise in the equestrian industry. Specializing as a judge at major events such as the Traditional Gypsy Cob Association's shows, he has proven his proficiency in assessing horse movement, shape, and markings. In addition, he's recognized for maintaining high standards in judging, as well as his capability in managing events and providing insightful commentary. His participation in the British Skewbald and Piebald Association underpins his expansive knowledge of traditional and colored horse types.

Vikki Stanley

Vikki Stanley is a seasoned equestrian professional with over 35 years of experience in showing, stewarding, and judging, mainly focusing on traditional and coloured horses. She currently serves on the judging panels for several respected organizations such as the Traditional Gypsy Cob Association (TGCA), the British Skewbald and Piebald Association (BSPA), and the British Miniature Horse Society (BMHS). Besides her substantial judging and stewarding roles, she has been influential in advocating for horse rehoming initiatives. With her breadth of experience, conscientious approach to judging focusing on conformation, turnout, condition, and movement, and extensive professional background, Vikki Stanley brings a comprehensive skillset to her judging roles.

Kevan Baskeyfield - Media (1515)

Kevan Baskeyfield

Bringing a wealth of experience from over 30 years of active jury service in renowned equestrian events, with highlights including judging at prestigious events like HOYS 2018 and various CHAPS championships. Contributing significantly to key organizations encompassing CHAPS, TGCA, BSPS, and many more, with particular dedication shown through 23 years of service to CHAPS and 13 years to TGCA. Special achievements include a successful 20-year breeding program for Welsh Section D horses, producing a HOYS winner and four qualifiers. A prominent role in current panels includes membership of the Connemara Filly Inspection and the Stallion Inspection panels. A strong connection with traditional cobs, coupled with an international reputation, complements the comprehensive profile. Despite a past back injury, the passion for all things equestrian remains undiminished, prepared for diligent service in upholding breed standards wherever required.

Johnny Simpson - Media (1516)

Johnny Simpson

Johnny Simpson is a recognised Panel Judge for several National Societies, including CHAPS UK, SSADL, Horse & Country Racehorses (HCR), Concours D'elegance Society of Great Britain (CDSGB), and the International Miniature Horse & Pony Society (IMHPS). In addition to this, he is a BHSII Instructor and has been actively running Showing/Training Clinics across the UK. With a sizeable span of over 40 years of experience in the Equestrian Industry, he brings a wealth of expertise to the TCR Judges Panel.

Vivien Shepley is on quite a few judging panels, showcasing her broad experience in the field. She is part of BSPS, CHAPS, NCPA, UK Ponies and Horses, TGCA, VHS, SSADL, TSR, MHC(GB), and the British Appaloosa Society. Her extensive involvement underlines her extensive know-how in the equestrian community.

Christine Senior - Media (1518)

Christine Senior

Starting from her twenties, she began her judging journey at riding club level. This experience was later broadened to include prominent championships like CHAPS, BSPA, VHS, and TGCA, as well as qualifiers for RIHS and HOYS. Complementing her judging expertise are solid equestrian qualifications that comprise Pony Club 'D' and 'C', BHSAI, and NVQ Level 2 Assessor. Her lifelong commitment to equestrianism started from riding at age 6, owning a pony at age 10, and later competing at HOYS. All these experiences combine to provide a well-rounded understanding of the equestrian sphere, enhancing her capabilities as a judge.

Martin Surman - Media (1519)

Martin Surman

Martin Surnman is an judge on various panels, including CHAPS, NPS A, BSPA RI, VHS A, and SSADL. He is a BHS Stage 2 certified professional and has judged at the national championships of these panels. Traditional cobs are his favourite, and he has a history of showing them successfully at the top level. His judging experience extends internationally.

Eugene Devine possesses wide-ranging experience in the equestrian field. He has showcased his horses at both country and riding club levels across the country. As a breeder, he specialises in Gypsy Cobs and Stepping Cobs, adding a business aspect by buying and selling horses. Understanding the variability in horses due to factors like age and injuries, he practises empathy in handling them. His stewardship at numerous country and club level shows showcases his operational knowledge. His keen eye can decipher the subtle differences in cob breed standards and types.

Natalie Jane Hudson - Media (1512)

Natalie Jane Hudson

An international judge that specialized in AMHA Miniature Horses in Europe, with judging experience in many countries including the Czech Republic, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, and France. In England, she boasts 10 years of judging expertise serving on numerous panels including TCGA, VHS, NCPA, APHS, UKPH, among others. Her experience further encompasses judging miniature horses with prominent societies such as the BMHS, UKAMHS, MHCGB, and IMHPS. In addition, she holds a significant role in CDSGB as a judge and Judges Coordinator. Her diverse experience across various equestrian organizations showcases her in-depth knowledge and dedication to judging in the equestrian community.
