Traditional Cob Breed Standard

Because Traditional Cob is the generic term for Irish Cobs and Gypsy Cobs (the two Traditional Cob breed types), and for crosses of the two Traditional Cob breed types. The Traditional Cob Breed Standard can be the Irish Cob Breed Standard, or the Gypsy Cob Breed Standard, or a combination of the two breed standards.

Neutral name

Because Traditional Cob is a neutral name for Irish Cobs and Gypsy Cobs, some people prefer to register their Irish Cobs and Gypsy Cobs with a TCR as Traditional Cobs.
