ENTRIES

All entries for the show must be made online via the TCR website www.traditionalcobregistry.com.

The closing date for entries is three days before the day of the show.

After entering an exhibit in the show online, the owner will receive an email with the show schedule showing all exhibits entered in the show and their showing class times.

On arrival at the show, the exhibit must be checked in at the TCR office and given its exhibition number.

Judges on the day

The judges who judged classes at the TCR Spring Show 2025 held on 9th March 2025 in Mullingar Equestrian Centre will not be judging any of the classes at the TCR Traditional Cob Autumn Show to be held from the 8th to 9th September 2025 in Emerald International. For fairness and impartiality, TCR aims to change judges for all future TCR shows.

Why Emerald International?

TCR plans to run the TCR Traditional Cob Autumn Show 2025 as an International event aimed at attracting foreign spectators, and Emerald International is not only a custom built international equestrian competition venue with an international competition size indoor arena with seating for over 2,000 spectators and large outdoor arenas, it is also in the ‘equestrian heart’ of Ireland (Kildare). Emerald International is therefore the most suitable venue for Traditional Cobs to be shown and promoted at their very own prestigious breed show.

GRADING

5-Star grading has become the modern online method for measuring quality, and TCR 5-Star grading is fast becoming known in Ireland and the UK as the method for measuring the quality of TCR-registered stallions, mares and geldings.
