A War Drum Horse is any medium-boned type of horse with little or no leg-feathering, not one of the recognised purebred breeds (Shire Horse or Irish Cob) used as a Ceremonial Drum Horse. Because a War Drum Horse can be any medium-boned type of horse with little or no leg-feathering, a War Drum Horse is not a breed; it is a type. The War Drum Horse, therefore, does not have a breed standard; it has a type standard.
